The Center for Creative Photography of Thrace on ERT

The Center for Creative Photography of Thrace was live on ERT from the Control Tower of Alexandroupolis International State Airport "Demokritos," presenting its new major activities and initiatives in the field of contemporary photographic creation.

During the live broadcast, reference was made to the exhibition "Rodopi: A Mountain Range, Fifteen Photographers," as well as the upcoming plans of the Center for Creative Photography of Thrace, with an emphasis on extroversion and the connection of photography with public space and the everyday experience of citizens.

From December 1, 2025, Alexandroupolis International Airport "Demokritos" will be transformed into an open gallery, hosting the exhibition "Rodopi: A Mountain Range, Fifteen Photographers" by the Center for Creative Photography of Thrace. The Arrivals and Departures areas will be filled with images that narrate moments, landscapes, stories, and people of Rodopi, creating a visual bridge between the place and those who leave or return.

The exhibition serves as a visual welcome to Thrace, offering travelers an experiential journey that goes beyond mere viewing. This is an exhibition that you don't just observe, but experience, as it accompanies your journey with images deeply connected to the identity of the place.
